Dear All,
Hello. I hope you are well there.
I'm sorry to delay delivering E-news letter.
We had a class on Apr. 6th 2010, we did four activities.
1) Correction
We corrected Seika's E-newsletter which delivered last week.
It was almost perfect, but there are some uncommon phrases for native speakers,
we interchanged some words common expression.
2 )Discussion about the new meeting room
We have to find the new meeting room, which is used, from May 11th,
we discussed about it.
Some people propose some places.
For example, "Yotsuya Hiroba", "YWCA", "Cafe Renoir",
"The Center for the Advancement of Working Women" etc.
This time we haven't get at a decision, we will keep finding the new meeting room.
※We stopped at "YWCA" after class, but the office was closed.
3) Sound
We practiced in pronunciation.
The words' phonetic symbol include any of the following, " i'ː" or " i' " or "u' " or "u'ː".
For example, first one is "easy", second one is "live", third one is "book", and last one is "who".
It was very difficult for us to pronounce " i' " and "u' ".
4) Song
We saw the motion picture of "BRING THEM HOME".
The song is antiwar song, we discuss the lyric and sang together.
That's all. Sincerely,
Dice-K (Young Daisuke)
